Hamburg can easily be reached with different modes of transportation.
Many airlines fly to the Hamburg Airport Helmut Schmidt, which is connected via the subway S1 to the Hamburg city centre.
Trains from different countries regularly stop at the Hamburg central station, which is conveniently located at the city centre.
The German highways A1 and A7 both pass through Hamburg, which makes travelling by car very convenient.
Hamburg is also one of the hubs for different bus networks like FlixBus.
Goldbekhaus can be reached via the bus lines 6, 17 or 25, which stops about 5 minutes away from the tournament venue. The bus stop is called Goldbekplatz. You can also take the U3, the yellow metro line, in the direction of Schlump / Barmbek. Alight at the station Sierichstraße, and walk for about 15 minutes to the tournament venue.
The nearest hotel to the tournament venue is the Hood House Hamburg, which is about 2 minutes away by foot. The Hotel Cristobal is also nearby, about 10 minutes away by foot. A couple of other hotels are also reachable by bus from Goldbekhaus. The Hotel Du Nord Alster is 3 bus stops away (buses 6 and 17) and the Hotel Miramar is 5 bus stops away (also with the buses 6 and 17). Ibis Styles Hamburg-Barmbek is also not that far. It is located near the Barmbek metro station, which is only 3 metro stops away from Sierichstraße.
We recommend using the Hamburg public transportation app, the HVV, to buy tickets if you want to use the local transportation like the metro, the underground trains, buses, and some ferries. The ticket prices in the app are 7% cheaper compared to the prices in the ticket shops and ticket machines.
If you plan to use the public transportation more than twice a day, the Day Ticket for the Hamburg AB area gives the most area coverage (all the way to the airport) for the price 7.80 € per day. If you travel by group, the group ticket is recommended. The Day Ticket for groups of up to 5 people in the Hamburg AB area costs 15.60 €.
Please be aware that you need a valid ticket when you enter the boarding areas for the local public transportation and it is not possible to buy tickets from the ticket-controllers and drivers when you have already boarded the vehicle. Click here for more information regarding the ticket prices and the Hamburg local transportation network.
Registration opens on June 8, 2026 at 6 pm.
